It is about connecting people with nature, supporting farmers, preserving biodiversity, and showcasing the incredible cultural and agricultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh. Seeing visitors from across India and around the world enjoy our orchards and village experiences reinforces the universal appeal of sustainable rural tourism.”
Now in its 14th year, the Mango Festival has become one of Uttar Pradesh’s most anticipated seasonal events, attracting visitors from across India and abroad. The festival promotes direct farmer-consumer engagement, sustainable agriculture, eco-friendly lifestyles, and rural livelihoods.
The Orchard owners Ali Jafri and his son Abbas Jafri showcased the local rare Mango varieties and the haven they have created planting more than 30 varieties of fruit trees that now hosts a multitude of birds and a natural ecosystem with fish farming, composting, poultry farming and much more. An authentic rural experience at this beautiful farm stays shows eco tourism can be profitable for farmers.
